Section 3 Social Event at East Side Mario's in Lakewood
CSLA Southern Region Section 3 had a social event at the Lakewood East Side Mario’s in early December, 2011. In attendance were Crystal Miranda – Long Beach Unified, Jane Brooks-Long Beach Unified, Sylvia Cieply –Long Beach Unified, Ixchel Stanford – Compton Unified, and the wonderful Lesley Farmer - CSULB. The social event was well received by those in attendance. Section 3 wanted to sponsor an event that was not for professional development but to network with fellow librarians and lovers of the library. The ladies commented that it was a much needed break and a great ending to their busy work week. Minerva Samayoa-Compton Unified and Christina Maben – Long Beach Unified, Section 3 reps, also promoted the CSLA Southern Section Spring Workshop.
